Good evening everyone, I hope this last week has been enjoyable and this next morning to be stress-free.
I’ve noticed that I tend to repeat myself whenever I begin writing these spotlights, specifically in the beginning. Please do comment on your thoughts of these spotlights, so that I may know what I can improve upon.
So for this week, I introduce Jason Nguyen, a freelance concept and illustrative artist from Toronto, Canada.
Out of the artwork I have come across, this artist appears to specialize in character design and it appears he really enjoys creating knights.
Personally, I must say that I rather enjoy his loose style of painting, but you’ll understand what I mean in just a second.
Tree of Life
I must say that this type of scene is seen so common in doodles of sorts. At least that’s what I’ve seen in my experience…
(I draw trees on floating islands a bit too much on my free time…)
Angel of Time
Well, that’s the end of this week’s spotlight, I hope everyone enjoyed Jason’s artwork!
You may find his artwork here, at his Art Station.
On an unrelated note, I’m currently working with color in my art classes at college, and I just remembered of an amazingly helpful game one can play for understanding the different shades of a color.
If you have an IPhone (unsure if it’s for Android), I recommend checking out the app Blendoku. It’s exactly what I said above.
Have a good night and morning!
Also I’ve noticed it’s been rather quiet here.. I wonder what’s going on.
